Set in the beautiful and picturesque countryside there is plenty to explore by car, on foot or on bikes. THe gite is near to the Normandy D-Day Landing beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Le Mont-Saint-Michel there is plenty of history and culture locally. For those who want to relax, the beaches stretch for miles and offer a clean and beautiful place to sunbathe, swim or play your days away. If you are looking for more energetic activities, you can find plenty to do, such as golfing, fishing, watersports, horseriding, walking and cycling.
Orchid is a comfortable 1 double bed room gite. There is a main bathroom, and a second toilet room downstairs.
The living area consists of a lounge, with CD player, TV and DVD player.We have a range of DVDs for our guests to use free of charge (conditions apply). There is a separate kitchen/dining area, which is fully equipped with a gas hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster.
Table and chairs are provided in the open courtyard for you sit out and enjoy the fresh air.

Ferme de la Fleur is a family run business. The current owners; Paul, Sara, Matt and Louise, moved out to the region in 2009 to enjoy a more relaxed way of life in the Normandy countryside, where family is a priority. The gites have been refurbished and redecorated to a high standard in order to allow our clients the best holiday experience at Ferme de la Fleur.
The property was originally a farm, built in 1850. The outbuildings, which were at one point a piggery and stables, have been converted into gites, with gardens, surrounding a courtyard with a fountain as the centre-piece.
The original farmhouse is occupied by the current owners.
The property is situated next to a chateau, which is reported to have been built in 1590 and holds a lot of history.
